Bicep Press director and printer Jonny Akers has worked with Sheffield-based artist Andy Welland on a number of occasions over the past 10 years - this particular series formed a large number of one-off mono-prints as part of Welland's 'Loose Ends' body of work.
For this series, the artist worked with us in our studio on, where we employed a rotating colour formula to inform the choices made in the 44 individual prints. We worked very closely with Andy Welland to make choices and decisions - a true collaboration between artist and printer.
